China consumed 434.9 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in July, up 11.8 percent from a year before, the country's energy administrator said Monday. The figure brings total electricity consumption from January to July to 2.69 trillion kilowatt-hours, 12.2 percent higher than last year, indicating strong growth in industrial production.
