China's crude oil output down 5.2 pct in November

China's crude oil output fell 5.2 percent year-on-year to 16.32 million tonnes in November, the country's top economic planner said.

The country's imports of crude oil, however, rose 16.1 percent from a year earlier to 21.81 million tonnes last month, the National Development and Reform Commission said in a statement on its website.

From Jan. to Nov., the country's crude oil output totaled 184.67 million tonnes, a slight increase of 0.2 percent while that of imports climbed 9.3 percent year-on-year to 230.66 million tonnes, it said.

Meanwhile, the country produced 225.67 million tonnes of refined oil products in the first 11 months, up 4 percent compared with the same period of last year.

The country's apparent consumption of refined oil products in the Jan.-Nov. period was 222.15 million tonnes, up 5 percent from a year earlier, the commission said.
