Volkwagen will launch a massive reshuffle at its Chinese operation, which involves the assignment of eight new senior executives, said Su Weiming, executive vice president of Volkswagen China.
Three of the new appointments are made at Volkswagen's Chinese headquarters; one is at the automaker's Chinese joint venture.
The other four new appointments happened in Volkswagen China's imported vehicles business led by Su. Former general manager at Volkswagen India Maik Stephan will become general manager of Volkswagen Group Import (China) Co., Ltd. Hu Bo, who left Volkswagen and joined Land Rover China as executive vice president of marketing last June, has been appointed general manager of the company's imported office. Till Scheer, former Volkwagen Hong Kong managing director, will be the general manager of Bentley and Bugatti brands in China. Previously, Seat China appointed Fang Zhengyu as its new general manager.
Volkswagen currently has eight imported car brands in China, including Lamborghini, Bugatti, Bentley, Porsche, Volkswagen, Skoda, Audi and Seat.
