The Chery TX concept car, with its advanced design and perfect shape, overwhelmed its competitors to win "The best Conception Car in 2012" at the 83rd Geneva International Motor Show 2013, becoming first Chinese-branded automobile to claim the title.

Chery Automobile Company is a flagship for independent innovation in the Chinese automotive industry, and is now ranked 21st in the world after 15 years of sustained growth. In 2010, Chery began making strategic adjustments to its production lines by improving production scale volume, quality and brand name image. The Chery TX concept car is a masterpiece based on the newest international designs and technologies.

The vehicle's designer says his inspiration came from "water" – the car's streamlined body is meant to give people the impression of flowing water. The Chery concept's agility, harmony and elegance impressed all the European designers, adding weight to Chinese brands around the world.

The debut of Qoros Auto, an independent international automobile company headquartered in China, is the latest result of long-term international cooperation. In November 2011, China's Chery and the Israeli Group jointly funded Qoros Auto Company, creating a new style that is employing foreign investment to produce Chinese brands. The Qoros adopts European norms in its manufacturing process to tailor automobiles for the global market. German Weekly Der Spiegel writes: "Foreign media tries to find fault with the Qoros at the Geneva Auto Show, but with this car they have failed."
