Airlines and Disney seal promotion pact

China Eastern Airlines yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding with Disney Destinations to offer packaged products that may include flights and entrance tickets to Disney resorts worldwide, officials said.

The cooperation between the two parties include joint marketing activities to promote both brands, products and Disney resorts in the United States, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Shanghai, according to the memorandum.
"Passengers of the airline will get priority to enter the resorts around the world while ticket holders to the theme parks will be offered special services on the airline's flights," said Dong Bo, marketing director with China Eastern.
A previous deal between the airline and the Hong Kong Disney Resort offered passengers discounts when buying joint tickets for a flight to Hong Kong and entrance to the resort.
China Eastern may also paint an aircraft with Disney elements, according to Dong.
