8 The Grand Canyon Skywalk, Arizona, US

The Grand Canyon Skywalk is a transparent horseshoe-shaped cantilever bridge and tourist attraction in Arizona near the Colorado River.

The elevation at the Skywalk's location is 4,770 feet (1,450 meters) and the elevation from the Colorado River at the base of the canyon is 1,160 feet (350 meters). Standing on the skywalk, visitors can get a full picture of the Grand Canyon.
