Abstract
The cooperation and exchanges between Xinjiang media and the media outlets and general public in the neighboring countries and regions are intrinsically cross-regional and part of the international cultural communication along the Silk Road Economic Belt. After years of exploration and practice, Xinjiang media organizations have formed a cross-regional information and culture dissemination channel that is based in Xinjiang and engages with Central Asia. It spans the newspaper, magazine, and the Internet, and has considerable influence in Central Asia. The cross-regional communication system needs to be further developed and upgraded to better serve the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt. In order to build a public platform for cross-regional cultural communication along the Silk Road Economic Belt, we need to share resources and cooperate in a wider area, and accelerate the establishment of a cooperative research mechanism so as to constantly elevate our understanding of the entire issue.
