Zhou Chuan, born in 1956, senior reporter, is Vice President of People's Radio of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XJBS). From December 1992 to August 1994, Zhou held the post of Deputy Director of News Department in XJBS; from August 1994 to December 1995, Director of Featured News Department in XJBS; from December 1995 to December 1996, Director of News Department in XJBS; from December 1996 to December 2005, President of Economy Radio of XJBS. He also was appointed as President of Traffic Radio of XJBS since November 1999. From August 1998 to now, Zhou holds the current position.
Abstract
The advent of the omnimedia age provides new development opportunities for the traditional radio. Faced with the new opportunities brought by the Silk Road Economic Belt, we should integrate the communication means of the radio with audio, video, pictures and texts, in order to increase the precision of communication more timely, efficiently and interactively, meet the needs of various types of audience, and bring new competitiveness to the radio.
