Alibaba, one of China's largest B2B business platforms and SAIC Motor, a Shanghai-based automobile group, are joining hands to roll out a new mobile Internet-enabled concept car, the Shanghai Morning Post reported today.
The cross-industry cooperation, starting with a strategic cooperative treaty signed by the two companies yesterday, is expected to introduce a new driving concept, in which mobile Internet is delivered via a screen that combines computer, cell phone and dashboard screen technologies.
With the new facility, drivers will be able to enjoy Internet service while they are on road, the Shanghai Morning Post reported.
