China has entered a new information consumption stage with smart terminals and mobile Internet the typical examples, said Luo Wen, head of the China Center for Information Industry Development.

Echoing his remarks, the results of a survey by China Youth Daily Social Survey Center showed that 41.4 percent of 2,062 respondents added electronics products into their shopping list for 2015.

Here, let's look at the top 10 items that are in the shopping cart in the new year.

 Luxury goods: 6.9 percent of respondents plan to buy high-end items.
