CAT publishes Regulation on Research Program Management

The "Translation and International Communication Innovation" forum, organized by China Academy of Translation (CAT), was held in southwest China's Chongqing on June 12, 2015. The forum aims at providing a high-end platform for experts engaged in discourse system and translation studies in China to exchange their latest research results, and to give suggestions on improving translation quality, enhancing cultural influence and increasing China's voice over international affairs.

CAT published Regulation on Research Program Management (trial implementation) during the session to give a more scientific and systematic instruction on the organization of research programs.

The China Academy of Translation, launched in Beijing on July 29, 2014, is the first of its kind in China and aims to respond to many of the problems and opportunities that China is facing, as it continues to open up to the outside world.
