HK Home Affairs official visits Singapore

Hong Kong Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing left for Singapore Sunday afternoon to see Singapore's arts and culture, sports, recreation and community developments.

The visit follows the invitation of Singapore's Minister for Information, Communications and the Arts Lee Boon Yang, said at a press release from the Information Services Department of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government.

During the visit, Tsang will call on Lee Boon Yang to exchange views on cultural exchanges between the two sides. He will also have a lunch meeting with Singapore's Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports Vivian Balakrishnan.

Tsang will visit a number of arts, cultural and sports facilities including the School of the Arts, Singapore Sports School, the National Museum and the Esplanade, the press release said.

He will also visit Singapore's local community and meet with district personalities.

Tsang will return to Hong Kong on Wednesday, said the press release.
