Two dozen passengers were slightly injured in the collision of two tourist coaches on Taiwan's No. 2 highway at about 7:00 a.m. Saturday, according to local media reports.
The coaches were heading for Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan when they collided. One coach overturned and struck a car.
Nine males and 15 females on the overturned coach were slightly injured and sent to hospitals. The car's driver sustained serious rib and collar bone fractures and was also sent for treatment.
Local police said initial investigation showed the car was to blame for the accident as it did not keep a proper distance when trying to overrun the coaches and caused the coach collision.
Police are making further investigation of the accident.
