Taiwan people donates for Beijing handicapped

Zheng Lizhu, a resident of Taiwan and the Secretary-general of the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (AMFPA), made in-kind donation Friday to a community for the handicapped in Beijing.

Together with Yang Jianhong, a local resident, Zheng donated fitness and rehabilitation equipment, electric radiators and paintings to the "Home for the Handicapped" in surburban Beijing.

At the donation ceremony Zheng was given a certificate of honor by Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation and enjoyed a calligraphy demonstration by a handicapped artist.

"Home for the Handicapped" is a community where physically disabled people receive rehabilitation, education, employment and social security services.
