Macao chief to deliver policy address for 2009

Chief Executive of Macao Special Administration Region (SAR) Ho Hau Wah will give his policy address for the fiscal year 2009 next week, the Government Information Bureau (GCS) announced on Friday.

Ho's term as the SAR's chief executive will come to an end in 2009. He will deliver the address at the SAR's Legislative Assembly on Nov. 11, according to the GCS

In recent weeks, Ho has reportedly met with representatives of different social sectors so as to listen to their opinions and advices for next year's policy blueprint.

Following his address, Ho will attend a plenary meeting of the Legislative Assembly to answer questions raised from lawmakers on Nov. 12, said the GCS.

To ensure that the policy blueprint is clarified to the public, the five policy secretaries of the SAR government will, from Nov. 17 to Dec. 2, will elaborate on the specifics of the blueprint and answer the lawmakers' questions.
