An exhibition opened on Tuesday showing achievements in China's 5 ethnic autonomous regions -- Inner-Mongolia, Xinjiang, Guangxi, Ningxia and Tibet.

An exhibition opened on Tuesday showing achievements in China's 5 ethnic autonomous regions -- Inner-Mongolia, Xinjiang, Guangxi, Ningxia and Tibet.

The exhibition introduces social and economic development and ethnic unity. It shows that stability and prosperity can only be achieved under the policy of regional ethnic autonomy, as well as the common development among all ethnic groups.

CPC senior leader Liu Yunshan, who attended the opening ceremony, says since the establishment of People's Republic of China in 1949, the central government has been attaching great importance to the economic and social development in ethnic autonomous regions, as it's the fundamental solution of ethnic issues in China. Results show that the government's policy has been a success.
