A thief trying to steal a bicycle near a supermarket in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, mistook the owner of the cycle for another thief.

The suspect was desperately trying to unlock a cycle parked outside a market, when the rightful owner of the bike, surnamed Gu, stepped beside him and opened the lock with his key.

The thief thought Gu was one of his kinds who had a master key.

The thief struck a deal with Gu, saying they would sell the cycle and divide the booty. That's when Gu told him he recently bought the cycle and then called out to a cop passing by.
