Two people died and three were injured when an explosion, followed by a fire, rippled through a plastics company in Taiwan's Taipei County Tuesday.
According to the county's fire control bureau, the fire was reported at at 4 p.m. and the bodies were found after the fire was put out.
Two men and a woman were injured and taken to hospital. The bureau said the two men were seriously burnt, but remained conscious.
An initial report by the bureau showed the fire was caused by an acetylene explosion, which workers were using for machine repairs.
The two dead have yet to be named.
The bureau is still investigating the cause of the fire.
