China had raised 5.207 billion yuan (762 million U.S. dollars) of donations in money and materials for quake-hit Yushu as of midday Friday, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The donations included 4.52 billion yuan in cash and quake-relief materials worth 687 million yuan, said a statement released by the ministry on its website.
The post said all the relief materials had been channeled to the quake zone, while 83 million yuan of the cash had been used for quake-hit people's life support.
At least 2,200 people died and more than 100,000 were left homeless after the 7.1-magnitude earthquake hit the Yushu prefecture, Qinghai Province on April 14.
Local civil affairs departments nationwide and various charity groups were collecting more donations, said the post.
