Chongqing police have detained three couples who had been robbing bus passengers after distracting them with displays of intimacy, the Chongqing Evening News reported.

The six suspects are from Guizhou Province. According to one of them, after spotting their prey on the bus, they would begin hugging, kissing and performing other intimate acts under the nose of the passenger. One of them would then choose the right moment to carry out the theft.
