At least 2 dead in NE China shopping center fire

A fire ripped through a shopping center killing at least two in Jilin City of northeast China's Jilin Province Friday, local authorities said.
The two died after being rushed to hospital, the authorities said at a press briefing, adding that 91 trapped people had been evacuated from the shopping center.
The fire which broke out at about 9:15 a.m. is now under control, and fire fighters are still searching for survivors.
