Housewife wins $1.25m jackpot

A woman in Shapingba district, Chongqing municipality, won a lottery prize worth 8.32 million yuan ($1.25 million) after she spent 6 yuan on lottery tickets.
Zhou, a housewife who is in her late 20s, had been buying lottery tickets for a year. Each time, she reportedly invested only 6 yuan on tickets and chose the birth dates of family members for her numbers.
After collecting her prize on Dec 2, Zhou said she would donate 20,000 yuan ($3,000) to local education.
