Ten miners are still missing in a flooded coal mine in the city of Guiyang in southwest China's Guizhou Province, an authority from the local rescue headquarters said on Friday.
Rescue workers have found three bodies as of Friday afternoon in their search for thirteen trapped coal mine workers.
Damaged mining cars and rail tracks have slowed rescue operations. An emergency rescue expert from the headquarters said that since many of the mine's tunnels are probably sealed up, there is little chance for the trapped miners to be saved.
The accident occurred around 9 a.m. Sunday at the Fuhong Coal Mine in Guiyang.
