At least two people were killed and 28 others injured after a coach collided with a truck and then hit a tricycle at an intersection on the outskirts of Shanghai Friday morning.

Police said the coach overturned and crushed on the tricycle after colliding with the truck at about 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Haiwan and Haisi streets.

Two people on the tricycle were killed at the scene, and 28 people on board the coach were injured.

The injured have been rushed to hospital.
