A girl in Yuling, Guangxi attempted to drown herself after kissing her boyfriend in public, China News Service reported.

On the morning of Sept. 18, Xiao Hua was caught kissing her boyfriend goodbye by a villager, who, recognizing it as against morals, spread the story in the village.

Hence, the girl has been under fierce verbal attacks and was forced to leave the village. Distressed, she threw herself in the reservoir but was saved by police.
