China's National Energy Administration on Wednesday launched its official website: www.nea.gov.cn/, aiming to improve the efficiency in publishing official information on the energy sector.

The new site, which is still under its test run, features various sections, including Information Publicity, News Center, Regulation & Policy, Strategy Planning, Energy Situation, Energy Science & Technology, Electric Power, Coal, Oil & Gas, New Energy and International Cooperation. In addition, each department of the board also set up its sub-station on the site to release all related information.

According to administration officials, the website is expected to become a window for accessing government information, a platform for online service, and an important link between government and citizens. Site administrators will continue to improve its services, enhance the openness and transparency of the government, and promote the development of the energy industry.
