Four workers have been confirmed dead and three remain missing following a landslide triggered by quarrying on Saturday in southwest China's Guizhou province.
Of the nine workers buried in the accident, another two were rescued after sustaining injuries.
The landslide occurred at 6:40 p.m. in Changshun county, when workers from a cement factory were trying to get rock materials from a hill by using explosives.
According to local authorities, 2,300 cubic meters of 3,300 cubic meters of rock have been cleared away by rescue teams and three people remain buried under boulders.
The factory has been conducting quarrying work for 27 years and the location where the landslide happened is about 150 meters away from the place where the explosives were detonated.
