 Every soldier is a veteran

Special forces members hold daily trainings in weapons, tactics, hand-to-hand combat abilities and diving skills in order to protect the merchant ships more effectively.

Live combat operations in the Gulf of Aden also gave Chinese naval soldiers real battle experiences, turning more and more of them into seasoned elites during their missions.

Every communication is a lesson

With more than 40 fleets from about 20 countries all over the world, the Gulf of Aden has become a platform for naval forces from various countries to directly communicate with one another.

During its escort commission, the Chinese navy has exchanged anti-terrorism techniques and martial arts with naval forces of the U.S., EU and NATO. It also cooperated with Russian and South Korean commandos and visited more than 20 countries including Italy, Greece, Pakistan and Singapore.

Owning to these exchanges, the Chinese navy has learned a lot from other countries. Meanwhile, they also had opportunity to show the confidence and might of the People's Liberation Army to the world.
