A mother and her two sons died after the house they were in collapsed Thursday night in Zichang County of Shaanxi Province, according to local government.

The accident occurred around 10:05 p.m. in a village of Zichang County, when the roof of a two-story house collapsed, and buried three people on the first floor, identified as a mother and her two sons.

The victims' bodies were dragged out around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

The county government has conducted a safety check and further probed the accident.
