A couple, both educators in Hefei, capital of Anhui Province, has been fired for participating in group sex after their nude photos circulated on the Internet.

Wang Yu, deputy secretary of the Communist Youth League in Hefei University, and his wife, a middle school teacher, were both dismissed after their scandal came to light, Xinhua News Agency reported.

Wang denied the allegations two other men in the nude photos were Wang Minsheng and Jiang Dabin, top officials of Lujiang County. He said the three men didn't know each other.

Preliminary investigation by Heifei University indicated the group sex photos were taken in May 2007.

Lujiang government said the nude photos were forged in a "malicious attack" on the county's two leading officials. It also showed the link of the original nude photos to prove their innocence.

The link led to pictures posted by wife-swappers in Kunming in southwestern Yunnan Province.
