The event raised 430,000 yuan (about US$68,241) in total, which will be allocated to Beijing Stars and Rain special fund under the China Charities Aid Foundation for Children. The funding will help the families of autistic children living in poverty as well as a teenager autism rehabilitation project.

The campaign was sponsored by the Guanghua School of Management in Peking University and organized by Beijing Stars and Rain, an NGO dedicated to support autism patients in China.

Wei Jiuming, Director-General of the China Charities Aid Foundation for Children said, "An estimated one out of every 110 children is believed to be suffering from autism in China. This disease brings burden and pain to their families. More and more efforts and attention should be paid to this field."
