A transportation hub

Zhengzhou is an important transportation hub. Its special location derives from many transportation lines passing through the city, such as highways, railways and airlines.

The press crops visited Zhengzhou East Railway Station on Oct. 19, 2012. The station is located to the east of Zhengdong New District. Railway staff said the station was put into service on Sept. 28, 2012. There are 16 platforms, and as many as 7,400 passengers can depart every hour. 32 railway lines will stop at the Zhengzhou East Railway Station, and will continue to play an important role in the economic development of Zhengdong New District.
