A man died yesterday after his skull was crunched in the mouth of a camel in Dalian, Liaoning Province, the local Peninsula Morning Post reported today.

The man surnamed Sun was rushed to a hospital by his co-workers but died despite emergence treatment for three hours. His job was said to raise three camels for a boss.

People who know the man said in online microblogs that his camels were usually tame but would become irritable when they enter the mating season.

When they become angry, they are dangerous as they would spit, bite or kick at people. It is not known how Sun's camel got angry and attacked him. Investigation is still ongoing.
