The Anqing warship of the East China Sea Fleet under the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) took part in a coordinated-drill with the North China Sea Fleet on April 8, 2013, according to a group of photos released on the website of PLA Daily.
The Anqing warship is 111.7 meters long with a tonnage of 2,250 tonnes. It can accommodate 170 people.
The East China Sea Fleet was the first naval force formed by the People's Republic of China on April 23, 1949. It has since been assigned to patrol the East China Sea.
The North China Sea Fleet is another of the three fleets of the PLA Navy.
