Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Wang Ruixu, the 90s-generation CEO of Guangzhou JoiWay Technology Co., in Zhongnanhai, Beijing on Jan. 27, 2015.

The company was established during Wang's third year at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and has secured a second round of Angel Investment and Round A financing of up to 10 million yuan (US$1.6 million). The company's total value has reached over 100 million yuan (US$16.1 million). Premier Li expressed his appreciation of such successful entrepreneurship.

Premier Li met with Wang at a symposium in Zhongnanhai that brought together people working in the fields of education, science, culture and public health. Wang spoke with Li about his entrepreneurial experience, and gave suggestions. He also expressed his wish that support policies will be reinforced to provide a better environment for entrepreneurship.

Wang has an extraordinary resume: he won five scholarships during his time at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, he was chosen as an outstanding popular science volunteer and he won first prize at the First Guangzhou Youth Entrepreneurship Competition. He is a typical example of a youth entrepreneur who has benefitted both from school and from work.

To everyone's surprise, Wang revealed that he was once an "Internet-addicted" boy. At the age of 11, he began to keep accounts for his parents' factory, but the factory went bankrupt several years later and left the family with a huge amount of debt. Instead of studying, Wang spent all his time on the Internet. As a result, he only scored 280 on the high school entrance examination, for which he received a hard slap from his mother. From that moment on, he realized that the family had no choice but to rely on him.

Wang founded Guangzhou JoiWay Technology during his third year at university. He created an app called "Jianzhimao" that creates a safe and convenient platform for people to find part-time jobs on the Internet. He received his first paycheck thanks to this app.

Wang is easygoing and diligent, presenting an image that's very different from people's general impressions of the 90s generation. He has added new labels to the 90s generation's image: courageous, dependable, diligent and persistent.
