Armless student seeks more time for Gaokao

An armless high school student in Panzhihua city, Southwest China's Sichuan province applied for more time in which to take the national college entrance exam (gaokao) on June 7 and 8 so that he can write with his feet, Western China Metropolis Daily reported.

Peng Chao, 20, lost his arms in an electrical accident when he was 6. He took last year's entrance exam but did not complete the papers, he said, because writing with his feet was too slow. He is waiting for the education authorities to consider his request for more time.
