Chinese prosecutors have put three officials from north China's Hebei Province and the southwestern province of Sichuan under investigation for alleged bribe taking, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said on Wednesday.
Prosecutors are investigating Chen Gui, former Communist Party of China chief of Hengshui City in Hebei, Gu Huaipu, former head of the Hebei provincial government's civil affairs department, and Chai Yongbo, former Party chief of the Sichuan Conservatory of Music.
The statement did not give any further details.
China is in the middle of an anti-corruption campaign targeting both "tigers" and "flies," high-ranking officials and lower-level bureaucrats.
The latest "tiger" felled was Xi Xiaoming, vice president of the Supreme People's Court. Xi is being investigated for "serious violations of discipline and laws", graftbusters said on Sunday.
