Fancy a mooncake made with 3D printing technology?

The first batch of 3D-printed mooncakes made by Hangzhou Printing Technology Co Ltd has proven popular among shoppers, gmw.cn reported.

The company develops and produces 3D food printers. Made up of college students of East China's Zhejiang province, it is one of the earliest professional 3D printing enterprises in China.

This creative team is based on the State Lab of CAD and a 3D printing laboratory in Zhejiang province. 3D printing technology has been widely used in food production including cookies and cakes and promises to transform traditional production lines.
