Anti-corruption campaign
China's anti-corruption campaign shows no sign of slowing for 2015. The anti-graft drive has targeted a variety of sectors, including state-owned companies and financial institutions.
A number of "tigers" and "flies" have been investigated for corruption, including deputy party chief of Beijing and vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission
Meanwhile, a total of 138,867 officials had been punished for violating austerity rules since late 2012, according to China's top anti-graft body. From January to November in 2015, 27,328 cases were reported violating austerity codes and 36,699 officials were punished.
It becomes clear that China is serious in building a clean government. As President Xi said, the fight against corruption never ends and the zero tolerance to corruption will never change.
