A man suspected of involvement in a mass killing in Yema Village, Daibu, Huize County, Yunnan Province has been arrested.

Police from Panlong Public Security Bureau, Kunming City captured the man near Ganmei Hospital in Kunming at 2pm.
Nineteen people were murdered this morning. Huize police were called to the scene at around 7:50am, and later confirmed that they had started a murder investigation.
In total nineteen people were killed, including eleven men and eight women, among which four were teenagers. The oldest victim was seventy-two and the youngest just three years old.
A resident from Huize said local people were aware of the killings. He described Yema Village as remote and poor with a small population. It lies about 20 kilometers away from Daibu, in Huize County.
The suspect, was reportedly born in 1989, and came from Yema Village. His motive remains uncertain.
