60-year-old aims at Guinness Record for longest hair

With silky hair 3.38 meters long, 60-year-old Ni Linmei is a star in her neighborhood of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.

According to a local media report, the woman hasn't had her hair cut for the past 18 years as she was tired of frequently visiting the barbershop.
Ni admitted that the long hair sometimes brings her trouble. She has to spend more than an hour doing it up and two hours washing it. Once, she nearly got her long queue caught in an elevator door. Thereafter, Ni had to wrap her hair in cloth and coil it around her neck.
She said her hair keeps growing at 0.15 meters a year and she is eyeing a Guinness World Record for the longest hair in a few years.
Her tips for healthy hair include drinking milk daily and leaving it natural without dying, perming or blow-drying.
