The Turkish-language edition of the book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" was released on April 17 in the Turkish capital Ankara with a ceremony attended by top officials from both countries.
Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek participated in the ceremony.
In her speech, Liu said that the book contains a series of statements on governance, demonstrating the new generation of Chinese leadership's philosophy of governance, administration principles anddomestic and foreign policies. The book has become a key window for the world to understand China and play a vital role in answering the international community's questions about China. The Turkish version will help Turkey people to understand Chinese leaders' governance philosophy, the concept of "China's dream" and the goal of China's reform in their own language. It is an important token of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, which would be of great significance as it further strengthens exchanges on governance and deepenes strategic cooperation relations
For his part, Simsek said that China has made admirable achievements in its reform and opening-up endeavor, with an important position in global economy and politics. The rich and profound content of China's President Xi Jinping's book helps Turkish people better understand China's politics and development, and also makes a good explanation on China's great achievements. Turkey is willing to cooperate with China in the Belt and Road intiative, providing new opportunities for China-Turkey strategic and cooperative relations.
