On January 10, 1946, the Kuomintang government finally signed a truce agreement. On the same day, a political consultative conference was convened in Chongqing. The conference adopted five agreements, including the "Program for Peace and National Reconstruction". Pictured here are members of the CPC delegation (left to right) Wu Yuzhang, Lu Dingyi, Zhou Enlai, Deng Yingchao, Dong Biwu and Wang Ruofei.
