Abstract:
The Chinese have Chinese dreams, while the Americans have American dreams. A comparison of the dreams of the two great nations shows that their ideals and aspirations share some common ground.
China and America are far from each other, both physically and ideologically, with one being the largest developing country and the other the most powerful developed nation on Earth. The two countries differ from each other in terms of national conditions, social systems, development stages, spiritual beliefs, and way of thinking and living. They speak in different languages and they do things in different ways. When it comes to dreams, their might have their own "Inceptions."
Then have the two dreams something in common? The answer is Yes, as the two dreams resonate with their own national sentiments, and are recounts of their respective national conditions. It must be emphasized that the Chinese dream and the American dream can, should and must be connected, as a separation and fight between the two dreams could only turn the good wills of the two peoples into a nightmare and result in a zero-sum game. However, if the peoples of the two nations come together and stand together to keep moving the two great nations forward, both will see their respective dreams come true one day.
