Rioters attacked the county government office buildings, police stations, hospitals, schools, shops and markets, torched houses and shops, burnt a dozen vehicles, and beat civilians, police officers and government officials in the county seat of Aba on March 16. After the unrest, local government took efficient measures to calm down the situation according to law.
