China hopes US doesn't support Dalai clique's secessionist activities

The foreign ministry spokeswoman has also said China hopes the US will not support or accept the Dalai Clique's separatist activities. It's been reported that some US senators are once again scheduled to meet the Dalai Lama next week.

Jiang Yu said more facts have shown the Dalai Clique masterminded and instigated last month's riots in Lhasa. She says China hopes some countries and people can respect the facts and understand right from wrong. The spokeswoman also said China hopes they can understand and support the efforts made by the Chinese government in protecting people's lives and property.
Chinese Foreign ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said, "We think the US should clearly know the real face of the Dalai Lama. More facts show the Dalai is a political exile who has long engaged in trying to separate the motherland and sabotage national unity. We hope the US will not support or accept the Dalai clique's secessionist activities by any means."
