Yin will be attending the third annual session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Beijing, which is set to open on Tuesday.

"The exposed drug cases of actors and other artists in this industry have had a bad influence on actors themselves as well as on show business as a whole," Yin said. "We should share the same intolerance of such bad behavior. Celebrities, as public figures, should know their morality is not just their own business. They should be role models."

He added, "I hope producers and directors will be more careful when casting actors."
