Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen has reportedly made a bid to sign highly rated Brazilian playmaker Romarinho.
The German outfit has offered Corinthians 12 million euros to secure the 22-year-old in the European summer transfer window, Globoesporte reported on Saturday.
Romarinho emerged on Brazil's football scene last year as a striker but has been transformed into an attacking midfielder by Corinthians coach Tite this season.
Despite the prospect of bolstering the club's finances via Romarinho's sale, Corinthians coach Tite is loath to offload one of his most promising players.
"We want to have a settled squad and it's important that the young players that are here continue develop," he said. Endi
