The 2013 Asian Aquabike Qinzhou Open concluded Sunday in Qinzhou City in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with China winning two top prizes out of seven fierce competitions.
Wu Ronghua, the Chinese athlete who won Sunday's runabout open by beating out the Sydney Team, said that this year's tournament is the most exciting event in his professional life.
A total of 135 athletes representing 38 domestic and foreign teams participated in the two-day event this year, the biggest scale since its debut in 2010.
The tournament, which was organized by the General Administration of Sport of China, was intended to enhance the abilities of pro players while encouraging international exchanges, according to the organizers.
Apart from those from the hosts, the tournament also attracted participants from Australia, Brunei, Estonia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Thailand and the United States. Endi
