Police were not sure what to think when they noticed a speeding driver was also hooked up to an intravenous drip on his right arm, the Yangtze Evening News reported.
As police checked for speeding vehicles in the Jingjiang section of Highway 336 in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, on Monday, they noticed an IV tube was hanging on the rearview mirror, connected to a tube that was inserted into the man's arm.
The driver said he was in a hurry to get home and informed police it wasn't the first time he did that.
He was given a 200-yuan ($30) fine for speeding.
